BRB - Be right Back....
Your Five Minute Tip to fit into your day to help you find the right balance in your daily life
Love Your Music

Music is the food of life so they say and the BRB this month is about listening but not just only to the music.
Music can be an uplifting source to help you in times of need, the mistake is we sometime listen to the wrong things at the time. Take your time to plan a little music schedule this week and choose a song or piece of music for each day. Concentrate on the emotion you want to feel and match it to a valuable 5 minute break each day to spark that emotion and inspire or relight your energies.
Try to work your way through emotions which help you to focus on positive energy, an uplifting melody for dancing to, a boom belting one for power, a quiet one for reflection, let yourself loose on youtube and spend the time listening for five minutes to enhance your five minutes of me time and to remind you that music can really relight your fire.

Doing Nothing

Sometimes it is about not doing something that is more important or just a good way of switching off, so in between all the meditations, all the tips in this section why not try this one for a break which you wont forget even if you don't manage to do it.
Can you manage two minutes in your whole day to sit and do nothing, sounds easy and we are sure most people would laugh to think that it takes a little bit of control to actually be still without distraction. Alternative thinking goes with exploring all ways forward without being restricted in your thoughts and actions. And instead of making a list, planning out the next months schedule or compiling a spreadsheet complete with dates, think about not doing anything at all to the sounds of the ocean waves. It may not be as easy as you think.
We all complain we dont have enough time, and this is designed to help you make time. A break can be as beneficial as a whole hours working time. The link below will lead you to a simple screen application which will enable you to take time from whatever you are doing.

Dream Your Vision

Not necessarily a 5 minute break but you can easily begin this BRB in you spare time by just sifting through the magazines you have around you and selecting images or pictures you like. The belief of the Law of Attraction is about attracting the hopes and dreams you have in your heart. By intuitively linking into these thoughts you are consciously asking the universe to bring them to you.. what are you waiting for - dreams can come true !

Dancing Feet

Five minutes isn't long but it is amazing what you can find on the internet to give you a boost. You don't have to be on "Strictly" to set your dancing feet free, and there is a whole lot of fun out there if you do...
A quick cha cha round the kitchen, or a little sway to the music in the bedroom can make you feel all the better about life, just as you are telling your body its great to be alive and moving.
Put on the music, feel the rhythms and whisk yourself away to a world where your feet and body do the talking...
Fire the Light

We flick the switch and then there is light, and we give it not a moments thought. To experience the glow of growth and the visions of the future, a night by candlelight has two focus points. One it takes an element of the past and brings it into the present, we can see and physically feel what days gone by were like when switching on the lights meant lighting a flame and not pressing a button. It is a good way of thinking about how time moves on. Spiritually the candlelight is a reflective tool for thinking of those who may have passed over or for those we care about. This connection is about bringing to life the memories, thoughts and caring feelings we have with every flickering moment. Spend an hour or so in the candlelight and feel the glow fill your inner mind and reflect mindfully away from the any other thoughts on those who are important in your life or have been in the past.
Reflections

Take a piece of paper and write down 12 memories of the last year are?
You can do this for each month of the year but do not just write 12 good ones, try to alternate for each month
Now write down one lesson you have learnt from the experience good or bad
This reflection helps you to recognise the concept behind balance and that from every negative there will be something gained as well as every positive the need for something to change

Achievements in Kindness

You don't have to win a gold medal to be a winner in life, we all achieve great things daily and we should remember its the littlest things which can make the difference.
So today for your balance break think of those little events where you have made the day happier for someone, or have successfully completed a task, even if it is doesn't match up to stunning the world, by running the 100 meters in under 10 seconds, it will be just as important in your own world.
Count up the times you have made someones life a little better by saying hello, asking them how they are, or simply flashing them a smile.
Note down the tasks you have done from the time you got up to the time you settled down to sleep, you may be surprised how much you fitted in, and give yourself a pat on the back for doing so.
Think of your strengths and consciously think how you can make them work for you best in your life, your own self confidence and esteem needs to be nurtured and do not dismiss what to you may seem inconsequential, to someone else it may have been a big thing.
Every day we do many many little things, and we are all winners in some way – even if it is a craft, a creation, a sporting effort, or even being a parent or a good friend -today congratulate yourself and believe you don't always need a medal to show you are a success.
